Our purpose is to create, innovate and uplift. In practice, that means investing time, care and resources in the villages, temples, schools and families around our factories.

Every year our teams organise and support programmes that bring people together — celebrating festivals, caring for health, encouraging young people and helping neighbours in need. This is not an add-on to how we work. It is how we work.

Faith & culture

A community celebration.

Each year the Dartry Valley team hosts an all-night Pirith chanting ceremony and a grand alms-giving for the whole community.

We also support temples and local festivals, and encourage our teams to take part in the cultural and spiritual life of the places we call home.

Smallholder empowerment

Growing better leaf, together.

Thousands of smallholder families supply our factories. We support them with advisory visits, soil testing, quality plants and training.

Better leaf means better tea — and better incomes for the families who grow it. Our field officers work side by side with farmers on planting, fertiliser use, soil care and good agricultural practice.
