In Balangoda in the Ratnapura District, Wikiliya Tea Factory is a landmark of the region: a multi-storey building with a blue-framed, glass-fronted facade. Senhora Group has managed the factory since 2009.
About 72 staff and 300 operators work with the leaf of some 3,100 smallholders to produce single-origin, fresh Ceylon tea.
