About the factory
Tall chimney, red roofs, green terraces.
In the Nuwara Eliya District, near Kataboola and Nawalapitiya, Harangalla Tea Factory is easy to spot: a tall chimney beside long, red-roofed processing halls, set above green tea terraces. Senhora Group has managed the factory since 2008.
Some 4,000 smallholder farmers supply Harangalla with leaf, which its 70 staff and 300 operators process into single-origin, fresh Ceylon teas.
